Chap 2 Pg 47
Man. If there was ever a weekend to confirm that Heroes Con is the funnest show, this past weekend was that weekend. So funnest I don’t even feel the need to use proper grammar. The show was just filled to the brim with amazing creators, great friends (both old and new) and TONS of familiar faces. Thanks so much to all of you who stopped by, bought a book or print or sketch or two or simply took the time to tell me how much you are enjoying this comic. You guys are thee best. I’m already looking forward to next year.
And now I really must get some sleep. It’s a long drive back to day-to-day life in the morning.
Blogged from my iPhone (very late at night).

Haha – I see iPhone still does the baffling “thee” for “the” autocorrect. Jobs is bringing back Shakespeare, one text at a time. Forsooth!

“I’m going to prove they’re WRONG about me!” Oh, so many times that has led a character to prove just how right “they” were … LOL. But, a teen-aged Egyptian Queen’s gotta do what a teen-aged Egyptian Queen’s gotta do! I suspect that Cleo IS the best person for the job though. :)

so just to clear this up, is this a prequel to the first scene? i got confused when one of the council members described a situation that fits the first scene, yet cleo is going to a xerx ship…. so… what?

Yeah, we’re still in prequel mode here. Everything since she go kicked in the face has been a flash-back. At least that’s how it’s appeared to me! :)

yup- we’ll still in flashback mode here. that one scene with the bandits a few pages back was simply a small glimpse of the present.
don’t worry. all this non-linear cyclical storytelling goes away in chap 3. it’s straight forward action-adventure from there on.

It’s hard not to like this strip simply for the juicy line work and color. (I’m a sucker for economic lines!) I found you via Twitter and this is my first exposure to your fine art and story. Will definitely need to do some archive diving! Is your work digital or traditional? It has a wonderful look.
