Story by Richard J. Maloney
Art by Manuel Preitano
Another amazing guest strip! This time by the story/art team of Maloney and Preitano. I’m starting to run out of creative ways to gush over these. So much to love about this one from that giant mummy to his “dark side” of a belt to the super fun hieroglyphics that frame the already beautiful art. Plus it’s funny. :)
Preitano’s no stranger to CiS, providing this adorable fan art a year or so back. So I encourage you to check out more of both Maloney and Preitano’s work over at Instant Press Comics, including one of my favorites, Mysteries of Bakerville.
Thanks so much, guys!

Come on, Khensu! Clearly she was trying to carve eye holes in that helmet so he could see again…
I love the little details people sneak in like the Pnk Floyd “Dark Side of the Moon” Belt the mummy is wearing! Love it!
This is so good, I’ll overrule my inner grammar Nazi and forgive the error in the fifth panel. :-)
I feel bad for the dark side of the moon mummy…
I loved this one. Nothing witty to say other than: Good job.
