Contest Swag

So a couple of days ago I received a bunch of author copies of Target Practice and I thought to myself (working from home, I tend to do this a lot), I thought to myself, “Mike, what should you do with all these books?” Immediately after building a small fortress from them for my two Siamese cats, I recalled this much better idea my pal Ben Hatke had. A CONTEST! Reward my readers and fans with a chance to get their hands on a copy of the book without having to pay for it. Also I love stealing peoples’ wonderful ideas so win win.

GRAND PRIZE (1 winner):
ONE winner will receive a signed copy of the hardcover edition of Target Practice, five signed CiS prints (shown in the pic above), and an original Cleopatra in Space watercolor (which I have yet to draw).

2nd place winner will receive a signed paperback edition of Target Practice plus the five signed prints (still shown in the pic above; they haven’t moved).

CONSOLATION PRIZES (because I love you- well three of you)
3rd, 4th, and 5th place winners will each get five signed CiS prints (they are pictured above if you haven’t seen them).

Simply leave a comment to this post (don’t forget your name). It’s that easy! Of course that’ll only get you ONE entry. Spreading the word about Cleopatra in Space, linking to where to buy it, this contest, etc. across the infinite spectrum of SOCIAL MEDIA will get you TWO MORE ENTRIES (max 3)! Just be sure to notify me in your comment where you did this so I can keep track of everything. Likewise you can hit me up on twitter (@mikemaihack) and/or Facebook and/or use the hashtag #CleopatraInSpace.

Contest ends on Wednesday April 23rd at 11:59PM EST. After that I’ll throw all the entries into Oliver’s crib and have him toss me five names which I will announce that Friday. This will hopefully give me enough time to ship your prizes before Target Practice goes on sale (4/29!) as well as allow winners to cancel possible preorders.

Speaking of preordering, I still hope you still do just that! Here are a bunch of places it is available:

Barnes & Noble
Indie Bound
Powell’s Books
Diamond (code: FEB141308)

GOOD LUCK! I’ll end with the book trailer again because why not.
