I’ll be at the Toronto Comic Arts Festival (better known as TCAF) this weekend. You’ll be able to find me in Beeton Auditorium at table B1 (right by the exit door). Here’s a map to guide you there!

I’ll also have a couple programs going on at the show:

Saturday, in Beeton Auditorium, I’ll be doing a drawing demonstration for kids from 1:30 -2:00, likely showing how I draw Cleo and Khensu.

And Sunday at The Pilot (2nd Floor) I’ll be on this:

12:15-1:15: Worldbuilding
Sometimes the setting of a story becomes as important, as integral, as the characters themselves. Whether it’s a broken-down small town, a sprawling fantasy world, the farthest reaches of outer space, building a compelling and believable world is integral to a successful story. Moderator Robert Fones (Sheridan College) interviews four talented creators that are experts at building a compelling world. Featuring Mike Maihack (Cleopatra in Space), Noelle Stevenson (Nimona), Tara Tallan (Galaxion), and Seth (Palookaville).

(The Pilot is located half a block from Toronto Reference Library, at 22 Cumberland Street)

Cleopatra in Space books will be on hand! And I would love to sign any that someone has already bought. My table space is limited, but I hope to have room to bring a few prints with me as well.

This is my first time attending TCAF. Looking forward to that amazing Canadian hospitality I’ve heard so much about!
